The Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit Zone A, reported that a smuggler was accidentally killed in the Badagry area of Lagos State. The incident was confirmed by the Public Relations Officer, FOU Zone A, Theophilus Duniya, on Tuesday in Badagry.

According to Mr. Duniya, a group of men armed with charms and machetes attacked the customs team while they were seizing smuggled rice.
