Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reportedly taken legal action against an individual on social media who wished death upon her son.
The actress, known for her recent public support of President Bola Tinubu during the 2023 general elections, engaged in a heated exchange with a user identified as @Yarlo. During the exchange, @Yarlo allegedly made a disturbing comment, “Your son go kpai soon.”
In response, Toyin Abraham vowed to take action against the user, stating, “Use me as the first scapegoat.”
In a new development, it has been reported that @Yarlo was arrested by the Lagos State Police Command for cyberbullying Toyin Abraham. Another user, @Reedah, claiming to be close to @Yarlo, sought assistance for his case, stating that he had been in police custody for four days.
Efforts to confirm the arrest with the Lagos State Police Command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, were unsuccessful as calls and messages went unanswered.
The incident underscores ongoing concerns over cyberbullying and the legal implications of online behavior.
