BREAKING: Police rescue Fouani brothers kidnapped in Lagos

In a swift operation, the Lagos State Police Command has successfully rescued Abbas Fouani, Youssef Fouani, and Amtal Fouani, who were abducted on June 14 while traveling by boat from their factory.

The Fouani brothers, prominent members of Fouani Nigeria Ltd, a leading electronics distributor in Nigeria, were kidnapped in a daring incident that sparked widespread concern.

Confirming the rescue on Tuesday, Benjamin Hundeyin, spokesperson for the Lagos police, stated, “They were rescued late last night in Orugbo Iddo. Our marine police, supported by the Nigerian Navy, safely brought them to shore.”

Hundeyin added, “Following the operation, our tactical team ensured their safe return to their residence on Banana Island early this morning.”

The abduction, which involved three Lebanese nationals along with the boat captain and his assistant, prompted an immediate and intensive response from law enforcement agencies to secure their release.

Earlier updates from the police had assured the public of ongoing efforts to ensure the safe return of the victims, reflecting a commitment to swiftly address incidents of abduction in the state.
