One dead, seven rescued in Lagos building collapse 

A building at Cameroon Street in Mushin, Lagos, collapsed on Wednesday, resulting in the death of a child. Seven other residents were reportedly rescued from the rubble by sympathizers.

According to a resident, the collapse occurred following heavy downpours in various parts of Lagos.

As of the time of this report, the Lagos rescue team had not yet responded to emergency calls.
