Abia LG election: Richard Esonu declares intention to vie Umuahia North chairmanship seat

Richard Esonu Nwanaga has declared his interest to contest for Umuahia North Local Government Council Area Chairmanship seat.

He made the declaration in a statement issued on Friday.

Esonu hinted that the rich history and resilient spirit of the people of Ohuhu and Ibeku clans inspired him to seek for the office and lead towards brighter future.

“My vision for Umuahia North is one of unity and progress. I envision a local government where development is inclusive, where every community feels the impact of governance, and where our shared values of integrity, hardwork, and compassion ate at the core of our decision-making”,he stated.

Esonu reiterated his committment to fostering economic growth, improving infrastructure, and ensuring that educational and healthcare systems are accessible for people of Umuahia north local government area.

He solicited the collective support of the people to enable him actualize his agenda when elected as the Umuahia North Local Government Area chairman in the upcoming local council election in Abia state.

“I cannot do this alone. I need your support, ideas and trust. Together, we will create opportunities for our youth, empower our women, and support our men, ensuring that Umuahia North remains a beacon of hope and progress.

“I humbly ask for your vote and your support as we embark on this journey together. Let us continue to uphold to he pride of Ohuhu and Ibeku, and build a future that reflects our shared dreams and inspirations”,the aspirant stated.
