Tinubu departs Equatorial Guinea after three days visit

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, after a productive three-day official visit, strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.

According to the Nation, right from his arrival, the President kicked off with some diplomatic and economic activities between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea including the signing of the Gulf of Guinea Pipeline agreement.

Besides the pipeline agreement, the visit of the President saw the resuscitation of the Nigeria-Equatorial Guinea Joint National Commission, under which many other bilateral activities have been set in motion and to be activated in November.

During his visit, President Tinubu engaged in various diplomatic and economic activities, including the signing of the pipeline agreement, aimed at boosting energy cooperation between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.

President Tinubu departed Malabo International Airport at 4:03 pm, accompanied by Equatorial Guinean Prime Minister Manuela Roka Botey, marking the end of a successful visit.
