OYO SUBEB: Head-teachers lauds smooth conduct of CBT exam

The Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria, AOPSHON, has applauded the smooth conduct of the recently conducted computer-based tests for jobseekers by the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB).

In a statement on Saturday, the Chairman, AOPSHON, Mr. Adekunle Adedeji expressed confidence in the examination’s conduct, noting that there were no reported incidents.

He commended the board during his visit to monitor the examination at the Distance Learning Centre, Ajibode, Ibadan.

“We checked the cbt examinations and the exams went on very smoothly. We are happy with the credibility of the exams and we didn’t have any incidents in the exams,” Adedeji said.

Mr. Adedeji Adekunle equally appreciated the Oyo State government for the ongoing workshop for retiring headteachers.

He noted that this will assist most of them to prepare for life after retirement.

Speaking on the examinations, the Chairman, OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, said about 50, 097 candidates sat for the examination.

Adeniran, who said the examination took place in one centre, commended the candidates’ comportment in the exercise.

“The cbt exam was very successful and candidates have started seeing their results.”

“There was calmness and the students were well comported during the whole exercise,” he said.

The CBT examination for prospective teachers began on July 22, and ended on July 26, 2024.
