Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media and Publicity, has clarified that there is no discord or ambiguity among the presidential spokespersons.
He made the clarification in an interview on ‘TVC’s Politics’ on Sunday in Abuja.
The statement became necessary after two separate communications were issued on May 28 by Ngelale and Bayo Onanuga, the special adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, regarding the President’s one-year anniversary activities.
While Onanuga announced that the president would address a joint session of the national assembly on May 31, Ngelale countered, stating that Tinubu would not address the lawmakers.
Ngelale, in the interview expressed disappointment by attempts to sow confusion and discord within the president’s office.
“I am deeply saddened by attempts to sow confusion and discord within the president’s office, particularly between me and my esteemed colleague, Bayo Onanuga,” Ngelale remarked.
He emphasized Onanuga’s longstanding dedication to defending Nigerians’ rights, underscoring his profound respect for him and refuting any insinuation of parity between them.
